Minor to Major: Amplifying the Voices of
Minority Entertainers and Businesses

JBJ's Nashville, Nashville | SEP 23, 2024

What an unforgettable night in Nashville! Our first-ever discussion in Music City was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more excited about how the conversation around minority entertainers and businesses unfolded.

A massive thank you to Sammy Arriaga, one of our attendees. The Cuban-American singer-songwriter absolutely rocked the crowd with his electric rendition of “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Watch him here, and you’ll sing along for sure!

Of course, we can’t forget our incredible panelists, who truly made the evening one to remember. Ashley Bell, investor and CEO of the first Black-owned bank to acquire a non-minority depository institution, shared powerful insights about breaking barriers. Andile Ndlovu, CEO of management and entertainment company Fractal, wowed us with stories of shaping the careers of today’s rising stars. Our moderator, Grace Lee—serial entrepreneur and partner at Profluence—did a stellar job guiding the conversation. Together, they reminded us just how far we’ve come in opening doors for minority entertainers and businesses.

It was a night filled with intimate yet powerful discussions of the impact we’re having. Cheers to more events like this, where we can continue to push boundaries and create space for minority entertainers and businesses to thrive!
