Anthony Davenport
Founder
Social4M was founded out of a desire to create a networking platform that would elevate the sports and entertainment industry while championing diversity and inclusion. Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities within these industries, I wanted to build a space where business managers, talent managers, entertainment attorneys, and other professionals could connect, collaborate, and share resources.
What started as a small, focused group has since grown into a thriving network of over 750 members across Los Angeles, New York, London, and beyond. Today, Social4M is recognized as a premier platform for fostering leadership, innovation, and meaningful connections within the sports and entertainment sectors. Our members play a vital role in the success of elite entertainers, creators, athletes, and high-net-worth individuals, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
Lawrence Davenport
Social4M Diversity Initiative Director
Dr. Davenport received his B.A. and first M.A. at Michigan State University. He earned an additional M.S. from Leicester University, England (performance management), and an Ed.D. in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University (N.J.).
Dr. Davenport has taught graduate courses at the University of Michigan, the University of Washington, and other prestigious universities. He served as a member of the Advisory Board for the Financial Executive International (FEI) magazine.
